An ars poetica analysis of how contemporary poetry and fiction must be written in order to re-capture and re-enchant modern audiences. The thesis is that modern writing must be written in a fashion that allows for a large audience to grasp the surface-level message, while maintaining a complexity under the surface that allows particularly literary readers to continually find new depths to plumb as they progress through the work. This concept is called accessible complexity.
